Warendorf and the idyllic Münsterland region

This bike tour is particularly well suited to the Münsterland region: picturesque village centres, vast landscapes and countless horses in the pastures are encountered along the route. The starting point of your cycle tour is the beautiful market square of Warendorf. Tip: In the morning, visit the stables and outdoor facilities of the Landgestüt NRW - a great experience not only for horse enthusiasts.

Shortly after crossing the Ems, it becomes quiet and rural. In Sassenberg-Füchtorf, a speciality awaits you in early summer: the small town is known for its numerous asparagus farms, which serve asparagus fresh from the field. The Doppelschlossanlage Harkotten, which is only a few minutes' drive north of the town centre, is also particularly worth seeing. The castle with its gastronomic offerings is also the ideal place for a rest. Passing the Vinnenberg monastery and the small but very beautiful village of Milte, the cycle tour leads back to Warendorf.

Take some time in Warendorf and explore the "horse capital". Charming little shops and cafés await you in the beautiful alleyways of the old town.
