Warendorf Stallion Parades
The Warendorf Stallion Parades traditionally take place in late summer every year on the grounds of the State Stud. More than 100 stallions of the State Stud present themselves in about 20 shows. This traditional event offers a varied programme with different facets. Here you can marvel at the stallions at a fast gallop or at the highest concentration in demanding dressage lessons. The shows are performed both with the carriage and under the saddle or in hand and thus show the diversity of equestrian sport in a more than three-hour presentation.

Two days of tradition in Warendorf
The Warendorf Stallion Parades take place every year in late summer. The event has long been recognised beyond Germany's borders. One weekend in September, numerous people from all over the world flock to the horse capital of Warendorf and admire the noble stallions on the parade ground of the state stud. This year they will take place on 14 and 15 September 2024.
The musical background musicof the fascinating and spectacular displays creates a unique atmosphere and makes the Warendorf Stallion Parades a true highlight in the Münsterland. Join us next year and enjoy Warendorf specialities such as levades and capers. Let yourself be enchanted by the high school of equestrian sport. Tickets for the Warendorf Stallion Parades are available from the North Rhine-Westphalian State Stud.
Parade by night

An event will be added to the stallion parades for the first time in 2024. With the Parade by Night, the NRW State Stud is now offering a new format for the classic stallion parades in the early afternoon. The Parade by Night will take place one week after the classic stallion parades (14 to 15 September), on 21 September 2024 at 7 pm on the Paradeplatz. As dusk falls, the parade will shine in a special light. The illuminated historic stables and the parade ground surrounded by stalls provide a particularly atmospheric backdrop for the traditional show at the state stud in Warendorf.
