Christmas is in the air at Kolvenburg in Billerbeck when the Advent market, which is known far beyond the district borders, opens its doors in mid-November. For the 42nd time, craftspeople from the region will be offering their self-made products and works of art here. Perfect for anyone who is still looking for Christmas gifts or would like to give themselves a present.

A Christmas market for all weathers

In this historic setting, visitors can admire the craftsmanship and inventiveness of the exhibitors and browse to their heart's content, regardless of the weather. Here you will find lovingly designed Christmas cards, handmade candles, Bascetta stars, Christmas floristry and culinary delights as well as stone, wood, concrete and textile works. The handmade jams and marmalades are particularly popular.

Of course, a proper Christmas market should not be without the right treats: A range of hot drinks and small snacks invites you to round off your visit to the market in a cosy atmosphere.
