Fireside picnic at Hotel Restaurant Schraeder
The Hotel and Restaurant Schraeder in Greven, which has been in existence since 1916, impresses with its good cuisine and passionate gastronomy. The beautiful fireplace in the rustic restaurant creates a cosy atmosphere while you feast. The district of Gimbte is a popular destination for cyclists from the surrounding area, not least because of its picturesque town centre. You can see this for yourself at the fireside picnic on Thursday 29 February from 6 pm.
The picnic in front of the fireplace and a crime story reading with music will make you forget the cold weather outside and invite you to immerse yourself in the world of Inspector Katharina Klein. Henrike Jütting reads from her crime novel "MORD IM KREUZVIERTEL" and is accompanied by the musical duo "Two Blue" on saxophone and guitar. Guitarist Stephan Niedenführ and saxophonist Uwe Seyfert enrich numerous cultural events with their musical experience in pop, rock and jazz.
A truly all-round cosy programme for a convivial evening in front of the fireplace.

About the author:
Henrike Jütting was born in Münster in 1970. Her enthusiasm for writing crime stories began at the age of 17 with the works of Agatha Christie . However, it was only after her studies and a few years away from Münsterland that the author began writing her works in 2005, when she returned to her hometown of Münster and completed a distance learning programme in creative writing. A few short stories were followed by what are now five "Katharina Klein crime novels". All crime novels are set in Münster.

A dark secret from another time
When the Münster poet Karl Wagner invites his former flatmates from his student days
to his home on the occasion of his 70th birthday, Vera Langenkämper,
aunt of Inspector Katharina Klein, is delighted. The retired judge returns to the same house
where she lived in a shared flat fifty years ago.
But what begins as a carefree journey back in time to the early seventies,
soon takes a shocking turn. A gruesome final discovery in the crawl space of the
old house sends the reunion of the seniors spiralling out of control...
It takes Katharina and her colleague Eva Mertens a lot of effort to unravel the tangle of unresolved
questions and shed light on the darkness of the past.
