Fireside picnic in the Burgmannshof
Haus Keppelborg in Heek is a former Burgmannshof of the Landesburg Nienborg whose history probably dates back to the 15th or 16th century. This historic building opened its magnificent doors on 2 February 2023 and brought the medieval splendour of the former Landesburg Nienborg to life. Guests at this event brought their own picnic and enjoyed a literary evening with tales of Münsterland luck as well as musical accompaniment in the form of mystical ballad singing in front of the open fire. A "Münsterland Winter Punch" from the Münsterland Seal was also served at each fireside picnic.

The guests were able to enjoy this cultural programme:
- Presentation of the book "Herzstücke im Münsterland - Besonderes abseits der bekannten Wege entdecken": 100 places and phenomena across all 4 Münsterland districts and the city of Münster.
- Reading of individual sections, anecdotes and special Münsterland luck stories alternate with fairytale-like tales of folk tales, myths and songs
- Musical accompaniment (mystical, Westphalian ballad singing)
