Picnic at the castle

Two great events come together at Ahaus Castle on 16 June: the Palaces and Castles Day and the Münsterland Picnic Days. Under the motto"Together instead of alone - picnics promote communication", a packed picnic bag for two people can be booked from Ahaus Marketing in cooperation with the Ahaus Heritage Association. Participation in the event is free of charge and the picnic bag can be purchased as an optional extra. The picnic will take place at the longest picnic table in the castle garden . The picnic will be accompanied by live music. The Ahaus local history association also offers a colourful supporting programme on the subject of castles and fortresses.

After the picnic, there will be a coffee concert by the Ahaus municipal band in the castle courtyard from 3.00 pm.
