Hiking in the Münsterland

More and more hikers are discovering Münsterland as their hiking region. The gentle landscape with its meadows, fields and farm forests is ideal for hikes - whether as a couple or with friends in a group. The beautiful hiking trails stretch through the region to the historic centres of the towns. At the Dutch border, old smugglers' paths tempt you to "cross the border" and in the hilly Baumberge hills, the Ludgerusweg offers impressive views.

If you want to go higher, then the heights of the Tecklenburger Land will tempt you. The excellent Teuto loops lead as wonderful day tours through the most beautiful landscapes. A real top trail is the Hermannsweg, which leads over 226 kilometres from Rheine to Marsberg.
