From herbs to vegetable plants to roses: the Picker garden in Borken truly has a lot to offer. More than 2000 different plants and varieties, to be precise. It is idyllically situated on the Welle, a small stream in the Weseke district.
On an area of about 3000 m², you can not only discover a breathtaking plant world here, but also get inspiring ideas and products for home and garden. Picturesque squares invite you to linger over coffee and cake or a gardening book from the garden barn.
In addition, there are various events every now and then, including garden days, workshops or art and culinary events.
The large, partly barrier-free show garden offers something for every taste: be it the hosta collection with more than 350 varieties or the splendidly flowering perennial beds. There is also a cottage garden and herb garden, small ponds and water features, dry stone walls and a rock garden as well as special woody rarities. The experience is rounded off by a seasonal decorative still life, lush bouquets and pretty accessories.
If you need a break from all the impressions, you can take a little time out in the Garden Café. Afterwards you can get inspired, because some dreams of special plants or products can be fulfilled in the small nursery and garden barn.
