Picnic area Höxberg Beckum

A picnic area with a fantastic view awaits you in Beckum! The site is very close to nature in the forest. Thanks to the great table and bench combination, you can sit outside on the edge of the "hut" or inside under the cosy roof. The refuge is located directly on the cycle network and on the 100 Castles Route.

There is a great hiking tour around the Höxberg. This Komoot tour takes you through the Höxberg area. At the car park you will find a lovely children's playground and an animal enclosure with an aviary. A little further on (approx. 800 metres from the refuge) there is an old windmill (you can visit the outside at any time; inside: see link). There is also a fitness and obstacle course that you can use for yourself.
